Organizing job fairs through social responsibility : IPS G Shridhar

Akola Police has organized the two-day job fair through the social responsibility, said Superintendent of Police G Sridhar at the inaugural function of "Self-Employment and Self-Employment Fair" organized at Police Lawn here on Thursday.Akola Police, Sharp Multipurpose Welfare Society and Child Welfare Board jointly organized a 'Self-Employment and Self-Employment Gathering' on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th August at Police Lawn for children who lost their mother and father during Corona pendamic .



The job fair was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police G Sridhar at 11 am on Thursday. IPS G Sridhar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sachin Kadam, Child Welfare Board members Adv Sanjay Sanger and Adv Anita Gurav were present on the stage.

Nitin Khandelwal, President, Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce, Prof. Nitin Bathe, Director, Samarth Group of Education and Brijmohan Chitlange, Operations President, Gujarat Ambuja Exports were also present on the occasion.

Speaking further, J. Sridhar said that the fair is mainly organized to provide employment opportunities to the children which are often not available to them. The number of legal conflict children is increasing, which is a matter of concern.

But the meet is organized to give them a chance to join the social mainstream. In addition to performing their daily duties, the Akola Police Department will act as a link between the entrepreneurs and the unemployed.

The job fair was attended by children of police personnel as well as children under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Justice Board. On Friday, August 13, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., open class youth participated in the meet. The gathering was also open from 2 to 5 pm for women, widows and divorced women. The introductory speech was made by Vilas Patil, police inspector of Ramdas Peth Police Station.
